What is Gyrocopter?

A Gyrocopter is most closely comparable to a helicopter, with the distinction that its engine isn’t directly connected to the rotors. Instead, the rotors freewheel, a phenomenon known as autorotation. Powered by a propeller the gyrocopter achieves forward motion, forcing air through the rotors to induce autorotation.

Where does the flight take place?

Flights operate from the Skydive Dubai – Palm Drop Zone, offering views of Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, Burj Al Arab, and Ain Dubai.

How long is the flight?

Each flight lasts approximately 20 minutes.

Do I need prior flying experience?

Not at all! This is a guided flight with a certified pilot. Just sit back and enjoy the view.

Can I film during my flight?

For safety reasons, personal items such as phones, cameras, and selfie sticks are not permitted on board the gyrocopter.
However, you’ll receive a professionally edited video and a set of standard photos from your flight, included in your package. These will be delivered to your email within 24 hours after your experience.

Does the weather affect the gyrocopter flights?

Weather conditions have a direct impact on flight operations and guest safety. While we aim to give advance notice of any cancellations due to adverse weather, last-minute changes may occur based on real-time conditions.

In the event of a cancellation, our team will promptly contact you to reschedule your flight at the next available opportunity.

1. Booking & Payment:

Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Confirmation will be sent via email or SMS with your time slot.

2. Age & Weight Restrictions:

Minimum age is 17 years on the day of the flight.
Maximum weight is 100 kg (fully clothed).
A valid passport or Emirates ID must be presented at check-in.

3. Health & Safety:

Guests must be in good physical health.
Pregnant women and guests with certain medical conditions are not permitted.
A safety waiver must be signed before the flight.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling:

Free cancellation is allowed up to 24 hours before your booking.
No refunds for cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows.
Flights may be rescheduled in case of unsuitable weather or air traffic conditions.
